Meeting Anne and her daughter Maeve during the book sale at Mills Village Park in Grafton was an enchanting encounter.
Anne shared her experience living here as an immigrant and how far she has come in America. Not many know this, but to become an immigrant in America is often a very long process that may take years. Even if the individual was to be married to an American citizen. Despite the long windy journey of immigration, Anne now only remembers her Irish spirit of perseverance and the joy of being a member of this small town Grafton.
